Renault-XBA-Redigo-small-car-render-pic-frontAmidst reports quashing the possibility of Renault NOT rebranding Datsun cars for their use, we have a new update recently, that, the French will launch a small car in India based on the Datsun RediGO concept that was showcased at the 2014 Expo in Noida.
Will it be a mere re-badge job or Renault is just using the platform? Well, we will only come to know when we get to see both Renault’s XBA (that is the codename given) & production RediGO.

Here is a speculative rendering of Renault XBA by Noticias Automotivas which gives us a hint of what the small car may look like. And up front, it looks a better attempt than; say Scala or Pulse, and might cause a bit of a flutter in your Alto’s tummy.

Bank mobile apps are being overwhelmed

Your mailbox can get stuffed while you're on a business trip, much like your email inbox. The use of mobile banking apps has exceeded what banks anticipated and organisations risk service outages unless they better align IT resources to support the customer channel, according to research from CSC.
The Mobile Banking: Testing Times for App Development report said that analysis of February this year shows that a number of UK banks suffered outages in mobile banking apps as a result of the high number of concurrent users.
The research of 74 finance firms in 25 countries revealed that banks are responding to this through investments in apps, with 17% spending more than 26%, of their IT budget on mobile banking. 55% said they spend more than 5% on mobile banking.

Microsoft Build 2014: Start menu returns as Phone users get new runtime

start-back.jpgMicrosoft unveiled moves to bring its Windows operating system (OS) into the tablet era during its Build developer conference in San Francisco.
As Computer Weekly previously reported, users have been unhappy with Microsoft's Touch interface for traditional enterprise applications, which led many organisations to remain on Windows 7, using Windows 8 only for tablet deployments.
The touch-friendly environment introduced in Windows 8 and the replacement of the Start menu with a full screen of tiled shortcuts has been a tough sell for many users, who find the interaction between the old desktop and the new tablet environment difficult.

Officials praise Samsung's Galaxy S5 antitheft features

The new Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone is displayed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona February 23, 2014. REUTERS/Albert Gea/Files(Reuters) - A move by Samsung to include free anti-theft features on its Galaxy S5 smartphones sold by Verizon Wireless (VZ.N) and U.S. Cellular (USM.N) won praise on Friday by two U.S. members of an international coalition aimed at combating robberies involving smartphones.
The new features allow Galaxy S5 users to track devices and require the owner's account information to reset the phone. The features, Find My Mobile, and Reactivation Lock, will come installed in the phones but must be activated by users.
"The decision ... to provide Samsung's Find My Mobile and Reactivation Lock features on Galaxy S5 smartphones and to allow those features to be activated for free is a step forward in our effort to ensure the industry makes effective theft deterrents available on every smartphone sold in America," New York's attorney general, Eric Schneiderman, and San Francisco's district attorney, George Gascon, said in a statement.
