Facebook to remove chat features from app, use Messenger instead

Facebook will over the next two months, remove the ability to chat with friends on its Facebook app and instead direct users to install the Facebook messenger app. According to Facebook, they would prefer to give users a more "focused" experience for users.
Over the last few months, Facebook has steadily improved their messaging app, introducing a bunch of new features and bringing in free VOIP calling via the app too.
