The 2014 Ford Fiesta facelift has been spied testing in India once
again. Ford has been testing the car extensively in Indian conditions as
a result of which there’s been a surfeit of spy pics ever since the
testing phase began. The last batch of spy pics of the new Fiesta facelift
came to use from the parking lot of a well-known ad-agency in Gurgaon.
This led to speculation that the car would be launched soon, seeing as
how Ford was putting together the advertising campaign. Ford’s
international website already mentions the 2014 facelift. These signs
lead us to believe the 2014 ford Fiesta facelift will launch in India in
not more than a couple of months. The test mule was spotted in Chennai, near where Ford manufactures its cars
These latest spy pictured of the 2014 Ford Fiesta come to use from Chennai, close to where Ford has its local manufacturing plant. It refreshing to see that the ‘Kinetic Blue’ colour of the Fiesta has been spotted. It is one of the new colour options that will be offered. Most pictures of the new Fiesta caught the “Copper Pulse” shade of the car. The unit that was on display at the 2014 Auto Expo also sported the colour.
Ford has put a great deal of work into the updated design of the Fiesta. These new elements and visual profile is part of the new design philosophy that Ford is taking up. The American car maker is looking to make its whole portfolio of cars more easily placeable on a global scale, as a result of which facelifts and new-generation cars will all sport certain common cosmetic aspects.
The new grille has been among the most hotly debated elements of the new Ford Fiesta facelift. We got a look at the new grille-design for Ford cars when the new Ford Figo sedan was unveiled. There have been obvious comparisons to the trademark Aston Martin grille. Other parts of the car that have gone under the knife as part of the facelift are the hood, headlamps, and foglamps.
