The Xbox One is the best next-gen console right now and here’s why

Microsoft’s Xbox One continues to face an uphill battle after the “Xbox 180″ PR fiasco leading up to the console’s release. While the PlayStation 4 outsells the Xbox One on a weekly basis, the PS4 has sold 6.9 million units and the Xbox One has only sold 4.2 million in total, in reality, Microsoft’s video game playing machine is the best next-gen console choice right now, especially in Canada.
Uncharted title or anything related to The Last of Us, will warrant purchasing a PS4 in the future.

Deciding which titles appeal to you on both consoles is a very subjective thing, but for me, the Xbox One’s library of games is vastly superior.
In reality, neither console has enough games right now to warrant purchasing either device. It’s better to sit on the sidelines and wait until we see what is revealed at this year’s E3 in June. Both Sony and Microsoft will be trying to get the attention of gamers’ wallets with impressive showings. But, if you’re looking to dive into the next-generation of game consoles right now, something gamers and impulse buyers will probably end up doing over the next few months, the Xbox One is your best bet. Keep in mind the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 have great game libraries and that Sony’s PlayStation Plus game subscription service is well worth the money and gives you access to a ton of stellar titles.
The Xbox One is far from perfect though. Its UI needs work, although it is improving, and the fact that the console comes packed with Kinect, an accessory very few developers (beyond Kinect Sports Rivals) are taking advantage of right now, will certainly turn some gamers off Microsoft’s latest game playing machine.
