Unisys has released a new version of its ClearPath ePortal, a highly automated application modernisation solution which enables Unisys ClearPath enterprise server users to web-enable enterprise applications and access them through a range of mobile devices.
The ClearPath ePortal 6.0 makes it easier for users to develop multi-tier, web and mobile applications and integrate ClearPath applications with the native features of tablets, smartphones and other mobile devices.

The new version of the ClearPath solution complements Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 and uses the Microsoft .NET environment to simplify the development of ClearPath applications with web and mobile features.
One new feature of ePortal 6.0 is the Unisys Hybrid Mobile Application Build Service, which enables developers to build hybrid mobile applications in Microsoft Visual Studio, which can then be installed on a range of operating systems.
Unisys has also upgraded its ASP.NET Web Forms mobile theming capability.
